Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer Job Type: Contract (50 weeks and 40 hours a week) Hourly Rate: £30 per hour Location: Gaydon Consultant: Alex Townsend Reference: 28652 The Organisation: The client is the largest automotive manufacturing business in the United Kingdom which produces premium all-terrain vehicles and premier luxury sports saloon vehicles. All the cars are engineered in the UK and the client has large ambitions for growth. The Role: An exciting opportunity is available to join JLR¿s Advanced Cabin Sensing team . Emerging cabin sensing technoogies will enable a number of new vehcile features and concepts over the coming years. The successful candidate will be working in the area of Driver Facing Camera feature development and knowledgeof this technology would be desirable. Primary responsibility is to support the technology/ feature development and integration into our vehicle electrical architecture through to production .

Experience And Skills

Skills Required: "The selected candidate will be resposible for ... ¿ Authoring System and Component requirements and reviewing with stakeholders. ¿ Supporting Technology and Feature integration into vehicle electrical architecture in accordance with JLR processes and standards (CAN, power supply, electrical circuit, software etc.). ¿ Quality analysis (Quality History, DFMEAs, Failure Mode Avoidance,¿). ¿ Development of test plans in-line with design requirements. ¿ Conduct and support vehicle, system and component testing and generating test reports. ¿ Issue identification, investigation and esculation. The successful applicant will need the following skills ... ¿ Knowledge of camera technologies. ¿ Familiar with electrical and software automotive testing tools such as CANalyser. ¿ Technical report writing skills e.g. documenting requirements and test reports. ¿ Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent open communication and organisational skills in a team working envioment. ¿ Full and clean driving licience." Experience Required: "¿ Expereince working with automotive Electrical Architectures. ¿ Experience in an engineering environment following company delivery processes. ¿ Experience in developing software dependant features, delivered through interconnected ECU hardware architectures. ¿ Experience working with and management of suppliers." Education Preferred: Engineering degree level in relevant discipline
