Job Title: Project Engineer (Electrical) Job Type: Contract (46 weeks, 40 hours per week) Salary: £21.95 per hour Location: Gaydon Consultant: Alex Townsend Reference: 28867 The Organisation: The client is the largest automotive manufacturing business in the United Kingdom which produces premium all-terrain vehicles and premier luxury sports saloon vehicles. All the cars are engineered in the UK and the client has large ambitions for growth. Role: Engineer needed to manage the release process for Infotainment headunits and displays Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Working with the Product development team to define part Nos for released parts Working with the component supplier to create delivery schedules for new parts Working with cross functional teams consisting of production PD logistics purchasing to ensure : parts are delivered to production for line trials Approvals are in place to allow new parts to be used in production. Test and validation of electronic components Support infotainment PD team in the test and validation of infotainment features

Experience And Skills

Skills Required: Experience of releasing components for use in high volume production Excellent communications skills verbal and written Supply line management Change management Cross functional team working Remote team working HW and SW test knowledge including : USB audio BT phone and audio Ipod connectivity WiFi AM/FM and DAB tuners Experience Required: Experience in a Powertrain Engineering Design/Development function Education Required: Qualification in electronics or a similar technical discipline

Salary / Rate

£21.95 Per Hour Limited Company Rates Negotiable
